MY STORY

My story really begins in the year 2011, sitting in a hotel room in Dublin where I said to myself, "the next 20 years will not be like the last 20". I didn't know what that meant at the time, but it set me on a new path of discovery and one that I hoped would lead to more happiness. Since that day, I divorced my husband, was laid off from a corporate job, opened a restaurant, remarried, sold the restaurant, quit drinking alcohol, sold my house and joined SeattleCoach to become a coach. When I look at it like this, if feels like I had to burn everything down to build it all back, and maybe that's what I did. But I can say with absolute certainty that I am so much happier than that evening in Ireland. And, through all of this, I learned so much about what it takes to build a life that I'm infinitely grateful to be living.

I'm not saying all of this to suggest that you'll need to follow my path. Your journey will be unique to you. I'm telling you this so you know that I've reinvented myself many times over and I am very familiar with what it takes to rebuild and create a life that you want, and honestly, one that you deserve. I am here to walk beside you on your journey as you discover your hidden gifts and all of the wonderful things waiting to come to you.

And here's a crazy thought, through all of the change, here's the most important thing that I learned, it's just like what the Good Witch said in the Wizard of Oz, "You've always had the power...you had to learn it for yourself."

MY COACHING STORY

Experienced. Compassionate. Supportive.

Have you ever been envious of someone who's doing something you thought was really cool and that you would like to do? I've been that way for about 10 years now, having been coached by amazing humans; some of the best in the business. I was constantly amazed at how they could lead me to be my best with such grace and compassion. Now it's my turn to give back in a similar way. Every major transition, and even some of the more minor ones, involved a coach giving me the time and space I needed to explore my deepest desires and the fears and limiting beliefs that kept me from going after them.

And, we can do this together too. I created a framework of transformation that I follow with all of my clients and it simply gets you where you want to go! And, we'll be doing some hard work along the way, but I promise you that you will get so much out of it and the whiteknuckling through life you've been doing will give way to ease and wonder. It all starts with a 30-minute call to see what you want to explore and how we can create a plan together.

To prepare myself for coaching, I became a student at SeattleCoach (the self-aclaimed 'small craft brewery of coaching'). I learned the competencies for effective coaching as defined by the ICF (International Coaching Federation), the only globally recognized, independent credentialing program for coach practitioners.
